What we collect

Two flows, kept apart:

• Newsletter sign-up — your first name and email, given through the form on the home page. Without them, no subscription is possible.
• Audience measurement — through a self-hosted Matomo instance on our servers (matomo.allyn.fr). No third-party cookie, no transfer outside the EU, IP anonymised.

What we do with them

• Newsletter: send you, once a month, a chapter in preview and notes from the desk. Legal basis: your consent, recorded through a double opt-in (a confirmation link to open).
• Audience: understand which pages work and when. Legal basis: legitimate interest, without profiling.

For how long

• Newsletter: as long as you subscribe. Unsubscribing removes your email within 30 days.
• Audience: Matomo logs are kept 13 months, aggregated beyond that.

Who has access

Only the Emmanuelle Garnier duo and the Allyn technical team operating the servers. No commercial third party, no reseller, no ad network. The email server is OVH's (shared SMTP): your address transits through their relays to be delivered.

Your rights

You may at any time request access, rectification, erasure, portability of your data, or object to processing. Easiest routes:

• immediate unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of every email;
• broader requests: contact@emmanuelle-garnier.fr, reply within 30 days.

If our answer is unsatisfactory, you may file with France's CNIL.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookie. Matomo only sets a technical cookie, with no cross-site tracker. No prior consent is required (CNIL-exempted configuration).
